Article 2 | What data do we use?
Here you will find an overview of the data we process, why we need it, the legal basis on which we process it, and how long we will retain this data. We process your name, email address, postal address and bank details, which are necessary to enable us to provide our services to the best of our ability in accordance with the agreement. Without this data, we cannot properly fulfil the agreement. For example, we cannot dispatch the book if we do not have this information.

We retain this data for 7 years (this is the statutory retention period set by the Tax and Customs Administration). In the unlikely event that you have a complaint about our services, we will process your name, email address and the details of your complaint in order to find the best possible solution for you. We use this data to ensure the optimal performance of the agreement. We will retain the data until this complaint has been resolved. We use analytics services to enable and optimise our website. We have a commercial interest (legitimate interest) in using your browsing behaviour on our website and related data to analyse our service and improve it where necessary (see Article 6).

We will track your use of our website using Google Analytics and are bound by Google’s retention periods. When you fill in the contact form on our website, we will, with your explicit consent, process your name, email address, telephone number and any other details you choose to provide on the form. We retain data from completed contact forms until your enquiry has been dealt with and resolved.

Article 3 | How do we obtain the data?
We obtain the data mentioned from you, as a customer or website visitor, because you provide this data to us when placing an order.

Article 4 | What rights do you have regarding this data?
The General Data Protection Regulation grants you a number of rights regarding the personal data you have provided to us for processing.

  1. Access – You may request access to your data at any time. To verify your identity, we may ask you to confirm your identity using the KopieID app.
  1. Amendment – You may submit a request if, following a review of your data, you wish to have it amended, corrected, supplemented, restricted or deleted.

  2. Objection – You may object to the processing of your data where the legal basis is the legitimate interest of LOTS or vintage

  3. Data transfer – Should you wish to transfer your data to another provider, LOTS of vintage will provide your data in a structured and commonly used format that can be opened by standard digital systems.
  1. Automated processing – You are always entitled to inform us of your views regarding an automated decision made by LOTS or vintage and to have that decision reviewed by a third party.
  1. Withdrawal – Where we have processed data on the basis of your explicit consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent. Please note that this may affect the services we are able to provide to you.

To exercise your rights, you can send a request to info@lotsofvintage.nl. We will assess your request as soon as possible. If we are unable to comply with your request, we will let you know why we are rejecting it.

Article 5 | Who receives your data?
LOTS of vintage will not disclose your data to third parties, unless this is necessary for the smooth running of our business or required by law. We will not sell your data.

Cookies are small pieces of information that are sent to your browser when you visit the website and are then stored on the hard drive in the memory of the device you are using to visit our website. These cookies cannot damage your devices. LOTS of vintage uses functional and analytical cookies.
